Groundbreaking Ceremony at Westwood Estates

Wausau, WI – The Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce and S.C. Swiderski, LLC hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at the location of a new residential housing project, Westwood Estates, on Tuesday, October 11. The groundbreaking was held north of Rasmussen College at 1440 Westwood Drive. Fay Harder, Director of Operations at S.C. Swiderski, addressed the crowd thanking them for their support of the project. Westwood Estates will offer two and three bedroom apartment homes with private entrances, attached garages, private decks or patios and full size in-unit laundry. The units will range in size from 1259 to 1457 finished square feet in four and eight unit buildings. S.C Swiderski Construction named Tim Koch as Project Manager and Neal Szymanski as Site Superintendent.


“We are excited to work with the City of Wausau on this incredible site,” said Jacqui Miller, Real Estate and Marketing Manager with SC Swiderski. “Responding to demand for quality housing in the area, our in-house team designed Westwood Estates. The site will house 80 luxury apartment units spread out in 16 buildings cascading down the hillside, taking full advantage of the scenic views and terrain this site provides. In addition to designing and building Westwood Estates, we will own and manage the site offering on-site management and a professional maintenance team.”

Rice Lake, WI – The Rice Lake Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Awards Banquet on September 29 at the Elks Lodge. S.C. Swiderski, LLC was named 2016 Industrial/Manufacturing Business of the Year for construction of a large scale housing project, Moon Lake Estates in Rice Lake.

The Chamber recognized S.C. Swiderski for creating additional housing for residents in the Rice Lake area. Moon Lake Estates is a 104 unit apartment site that the company designed, built, owns and manages.  They plan to start construction on Phase II of Moon Lake Estates in 2017 which will add an additional 100 units when completed. The company is currently constructing multi-family apartments in Antigo, Eagle River, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids and has other locations such as Merrill, Weston and Stevens Point.

S.C. Swiderski, LLC Announces Key Appointments

Mosinee, WI – S.C. Swiderski, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Amber Anderson, Jason Czech and Tom Woller in three key positions.

Amber Anderson has joined the company as Senior Accountant in its Mosinee headquarters. In this role she assists with the financial management of the company including audits, budgets, accounts payable and receivable, corporate income taxes and draws to ensure accurate projections for projects. Anderson has degrees in Accounting and Public Accounting as well as a background in record management, accounting and real estate.

Jason Czech was selected as the Purchasing and Estimating Manager.  He has 12 years of experience with purchasing and a background in construction including 7 years of architectural design, estimating, project management, and sales.  Most recently he worked as a Buyer at AIG.  In this newly created role at S.C. Swiderski, he will build and maintain construction budgets, develop new purchasing strategies, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.  He has a degree in Architectural Residential Design and is a Certified Professional in Supply Management.

Tom Woller was named Construction Superintendent.  He brings 27 years of experience with construction and project management.  Most recently he worked in North Dakota as owner of Piper Development.  In his role at S.C. Swiderski, he will supervise the field construction of commercial projects managing the schedule, budget and trades people while maintaining safety and quality standards.  His first site is Prosser Place Estates in Antigo, Wisconsin building an 88 unit luxury apartment site.
