Marketing Internship Experience - Summer 2022

Internship Experience | Allison Miller

Before I dive into my amazing internship experience, I would like to start off with a BIG thank you to the S.C. Swiderski team. Thank you for believing in me, valuing me, helping me grow professionally, and for being extremely welcoming.

My time here at SCS went by so fast and I am truly so blessed to have had this amazing internship. From my first day I knew I was in for a great summer. Throughout my internship, my knowledge and experience with marketing in a business setting has grown significantly. SCS offers their interns a wide variety of opportunities to learn from different departments throughout the company. Every day I was learning and accomplishing something new.

The people at SCS are one of a kind. Every interaction I had with an SCS team member was positive and enlightening. Everyone is kind, welcoming, and talented. My coworkers really made this internship extra special.

Throughout my internship, I have worked on a variety of tasks and projects that have helped me grow professionally such as event planning, graphic designing, running social media ads and campaigns, and creating short films. I have learned so much from this internship and I am so glad I had this opportunity to be a part of the SCS team this summer. The skills I learned this summer will definitely help me achieve my future career goals.

Mentoring an intern for the entire summer is such a rewarding experience. It’s been my pleasure to coach and share my experiences with Allison Miller this summer at S.C. SWIDERSKI, LLC! A truly talented and intelligent individual. She mentions how much I taught her, but she taught me more than she even realizes!

Internship Experience | Steven Borta

My entire summer internship at S.C. Swiderski has been a blessing and I am so thankful to everyone who I have worked with. This internship has allowed me to establish and build skills in a wide variety of marketing foundations. I loved learning about market research, competitor research, and brand development. It was especially awesome to present my findings/ideas and see them be utilized.

This summer, I spent most of my time with SCS Homes, a new branch of SC. Swiderski. With SCS Homes being new, I really got to see firsthand the importance of brand development and marketing as a whole. It was great working and learning from Shayne, the SCS Homes Coordinator, Morgan, the SCS Home Concierge and Megan, the Marketing Coordinator for SCS Homes. Between these three, I was given an abundance of knowledge and advice. They helped prepare me for life after college and provided excellent leadership.

Passing down wisdom and providing amazing guidance was a reoccurring theme for the entire S.C. Swiderski team and I am so grateful I got to be a part of it this summer. Thank you all for taking a chance on me and I hope I was able to live up to the high standards of this company. I can not wait and see all the new projects that will be created!

Having Steve join our team for the summer was a great experience. Not only did he assist the whole department with various projects, but he was always happy to help no matter what the task. Whether he had to do research, travel, or learn something completely new to him, Steve wanted to make the most out of his time here and we really appreciated the work he did.
