S.C. Swiderski Holds SCS Rothschild Groundbreaking Ceremony

S.C Swiderski hosted an event to celebrate a major milestone for the company. On June 7th, S.C. Swiderski held our ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony for our SCS Rothschild project and honored the company’s 30th anniversary. We were joined at the event by many partners on the project.  Jim Borysenko and REI Engineering, Inc.  was present, along with our lender Dustin Fahney of WoodTrust Bank. Members from ABC Supply Co. Inc. joined us, as well as numerous ambassadors from the Village of Rothschild along with members of the Wausau and Mosinee chambers of commerce.

During the ceremony, S.C. Swiderski recognized 9 recipients of our $30,000 giveaway in celebration of their 30th anniversary, each receiving $1,000. These organizations include Community Center of Hope, Dream Flight USA Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Community Services, Special Olympics Wisconsin – North Central Area, Humane Society of Marathon County, Run for the Fallen – Kronenwetter, The Women’s Community of Wausau, Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services, and Blessings in a Backpack – DC Everest/Wausau Schools. Other finalist organizations were recognized as well. These organizations were selected by S.C. Swiderski employees. During the ceremony, S.C. Swiderski leaders also talked about the company’s growth and history over the last 30 years and shared their appreciation for the dedication and hard work of their employees.

After the ceremony, there was a live DJ and guests were treated to some snacks and drinks provided by S.C. Swiderski. The Smokehouse BBQ food truck was also on site to give attendees an option for lunch. Many local citizens also attended the event as it was open to the public. All departments of S.C. Swiderski were represented at the event to also celebrate the companies 30th anniversary. In total there were over 100 attendees.

SCS Rothschild will feature 68 apartment homes with 9 different floor plans ranging from 700 to 1165 sq. ft. for tenants to choose from. On the site, there will be 4 buildings with one-level living that have 2 bedrooms with attached garages. There will also be 3 buildings that will offer 1, 2, and 3 bedroom options with detached garages. All apartments have private entrances and either a patio space or balcony. All apartments will include heat, water, sewer, cable, Wi-Fi, trash, lawn care and snow removal in the rent rates.

S.C. Swiderski is excited to become a part of the Rothschild community. We will provide a variety of maintenance-free housing options at a wide range of price points adding much needed housing in the area. S.C. Swiderski will work with local subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers on this project as well as utilizing local suppliers and lenders whenever possible. S.C. Swiderski promises to be an active member of the Rothschild community for the long-term by adding property management jobs on-site and contributing to local charitable organizations through their CAS Committee.

The event starts at 11:30am and will be held at 10101 Calumet Street in Rothschild right behind Cedar Creek Mall. The event will feature community leaders from Mosinee, Kronenwetter, Wausau, and Rothschild as well as Project Engineer, REI, and Project Lender, Woodtrust Bank. Representatives of all departments of S.C. Swiderski will be in attendance.

S.C. Swiderski Celebrates Grand Opening of SCS Stanley

S.C. Swiderski celebrated the grand opening ceremony of the multi-family housing project, SCS Stanley on May 24th. Special guests included, David Jankoski of the Clark County Economic Development, Mayor Al Haas and Kevin Hendrickson from the City of Stanley, and Larry Accosta from Merchants Bank.  Following the ribbon cutting, guests were invited to enjoy treats provided by S.C. Swiderski as well as guided tours of the on-site property management office and a few of the apartments showcasing different floorplans available to tenants.

During the Grand Opening Ceremony, a $1,000 check was donated to the Clark County Humane Society in celebration of S.C. Swiderski’s 30th Anniversary. “Our employees voted on a group of non-profit organizations within the Stanley area and Clark County Humane Society was chosen to receive the donation,” said Marketing Communications Coordinator Johanna McGlauchlen. According to April Dickson of the Clark County Humane Society, the donation will be used to introduce more children to the organization and promote responsible care of pets in the Clark County.

SCS Stanley offers market rate apartment homes with 1-to-3 bedroom options and eight floorplans to choose from. The square footage ranges from 702 to 1,165 sq. ft. giving living options that are suited to a wide range of tenants.  All apartments include private entrances, luxury plank flooring, a full appliance package and modern finishes and a garage stall. In addition to snow removal and lawn care, rent includes heat, water, cable, and high-speed internet. The apartment homes are pet friendly for cats and dogs under 50 pounds. SCS Stanley is located on Pine Street in Stanley in a convenient location near Hwy 29. The apartments also have on-site management who is ready to respond to the needs of the tenants. “We are excited to see this site open and become home to so many residents. We appreciate the support of the City of Stanley on the planning of this project and are happy to be able to bring more quality housing options to the area,” said Director of Business Development Jacqui McElroy. David Jankoski explained in his remarks to the group that the county has hundreds of job openings and the project is provided much needed housing to attract workers to the area.

Construction by S.C. Swiderski Construction began in 2021 under the direction of site superintendent Brian Vullings and Project Manager Kelsey Beasland. Two buildings at the site have opened and the final building is scheduled to be completed this summer. Lease up activity has been strong and is being managed by S.C. Swiderski Property Management headed by Leasing Manager Kari Kussow and Area Manager Amanda Guthman. The team hosted tours of the new apartment homes for guests of the event.

All of S.C. Swiderski projects are designed, built, owned, and managed by the company.
