Construction by S.C. Swiderski Construction began last summer under the direction of site superintendent Sarah Fischer. Five buildings have opened along with the property management office; three buildings are still under construction. Lease up activity has been strong and is being managed by S.C. Swiderski Property Management headed by Leasing Manager Kari Kussow and Area Manager Julie Walker. “This development not only will expand the options for housing in the Village of Hortonville it will also allow for the Tax Increment District to fund about 1/3 of the cost of the total reconstruction of Main Street that will take place between 2024-2026. This project will be a huge benefit for the residents and will set Hortonville on a path toward success for years to come” states Village of Hortonville Administrator Nathan Treadwell.
During the Grand Opening Ceremony, a $1000 check was donated to the Hortonville Elementary School PTO in celebration of S.C. Swiderski’s 30th Anniversary. “Our employees voted on a group of non-profit organizations within the Hortonville area and Hortonville Elementary PTO was chosen to receive the donation” says Marketing Communications Coordinator Johanna McGlauchlen. According to Hortonville Elementary School Principal, Jared Deli, the donation will be used to help make the school’s playground a more inclusive playground for the Hortonville community.
All of S.C. Swiderski projects are designed, built, owned, and managed by the company. The company has several other multi-family projects in construction and will be breaking ground on additional projects this year.
