S.C. Swiderski designs, builds and manages their apartments putting them in the ideal situation to adapt their apartments based on feedback from thousands of tenants. A collaboration between departments takes place to decide floor plans, materials and finishes. The maintenance department tracks all work orders and repairs; they provide valuable input on materials and floor plans. The leasing department has daily communications with potential and existing tenants and compiles information on preferences and competing properties. The pre-construction team and marketing department research area demographics, feedback from the city and marketplace trends. The construction department shares vendor options and installation and pricing information. All of this data is gathered and the design team creates sample boards. A committee evaluates the proposed options even going as far as to install items for demonstrations, checking colors in various lighting and performing sound and performance tests.  This thorough process goes on behind the scenes to ensure SCS delivers quality apartments with the features tenants will enjoy.

APRIL STAR SPOTLIGHT - MAINTENANCE TECHS

Our Star Spotlight for April is our amazing maintenance technicians. Randy Hazelton, Andy Braunel, Kevin Krush, Scott Lokker and Travis Kolpack complete hundreds of service calls every month. The skill level of this department is amazing as they handle calls other property managers need to outsource to plumbers, electricians and HVAC professionals.  We are fortunate to have technicians with such talent and experience which positively impacts our tenant satisfaction and bottom line for the company. In addition to successfully handling a wide range of maintenance and repair issues, and being on call 24 hours a day for emergencies, they interact with our tenants and uphold a high level of customer service.

S.C. Swiderski Welcomes Joe & Hunter Igl

S.C. Swiderski has appointed Joe Igl as Excavation Foreman in the construction division. Joe will provide oversight of the excavation staff in the field. 

Joe has twenty six years of experience in excavation. He has worked on SC Swiderski sites in Antigo, Eagle River and Kronenwetter as a subcontractor. In his new role, Joe responsibilities include equipment operation, enforcing safety procedures and directing the excavation crew on daily tasks, loading materials and site preparation. He will promote continuous improvement in workplace practices.

“Several of our construction superintendents had worked with Joe and were impressed with his work ethic and knowledge. We are fortunate to have him join the company in a leadership role,” said Excavation Manager Jay Trowbridge.

Joe lives in Antigo with his wife. Their son, Hunter, has also joined the excavation department at S.C. Swiderski. They have another son that is 17 and a daughter that is 14. Joe loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.
