Construction Career Fair February 9

S.C. Swiderski is a local company that designs, builds, owns and manages our own multi-family projects. An exciting aspect of our business plan is that we are not reliant on outside companies to provide us with projects. We have experienced 100% over the last three years and are seeking motivated individuals to grow with us.

We are hosting a Construction Career Fair on February 9th from 6 am to 6 pm at our corporate office at 401 Ranger Street, Mosinee. On the spot interviews will be available at the event. We are currently building Moon Lake Estates in Rice Lake, Westwood Estates in Wausau, Urban West in Wausau and Sturgeon Bay Estates; we have projects in the pipeline for the next several years. S.C. Swiderski has a 26 year history of no construction lay-offs. Our excavation department was expanded in 2017 with new equipment and a dedicated manager.

S.C. Swiderski Announces Urban West in Wausau

Mosinee, WI - S.C. Swiderski, LLC, a construction and real estate investment company, has announced a new project in Wausau, WI. Urban West is a 22 million dollar luxury multifamily development on N. 12th Avenue and Merrill Avenue on the west side of Wausau. The company expects to break ground in early September 2017. The first phase of the project includes a three story apartment building with secured, underground parking.

Urban West will house 132 luxury apartment homes offering a variety of studio, efficiency, one and two bedroom floorplans. The apartments will range from 654 to 1334 square feet with 9 foot ceilings, private laundry, covered balconies and upgraded finishes such as granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The building will have a large community room with a full kitchen, fireplace and spacious entertaining area as well as a fully equipped fitness room. Other building features include secured entrances, elevators, storage lockers and indoor and outdoor lounge areas. The exterior will have aluminum panels, brick and oversized windows bringing a sophisticated, urban look to the neighborhood. To embrace the area’s vibrant art community, Urban West will display works by local artists in the common areas and model home.

S.C. Swiderski is the architect, builder and owner of Urban West. S.C. Swiderski Construction will manage the project with their excavation department handling the excavation and site utility installation for the project.

The Property Management Division of S.C. Swiderski will provide professional leasing, maintenance and grounds keeping for this site.  Leasing Department Manager Kari Kussow said, “We are thrilled to bring our new, contemporary building design to Wausau. These apartments will fill an under-served niche in Wausau providing an upscale rental option with great community amenities and the convenience of underground parking. Jay Trowbridge Joins S.C. Swiderski as Excavation Manager

Mosinee, WI - S.C. Swiderski, LLC, a construction and real estate investment company, announced the addition of Jay Trowbridge as Manager of their expanded Excavation Department. Jay will lead this growing department of the Construction Division and oversee work on both S.C. Swiderski developments and outside projects.

Jay has twenty years of experience in excavation, equipment operation and site utilities. He worked as a Project Manager for a trucking and excavating company and as co-owner of his family’s business. Jay has comprehensive experience in estimating, project coordination, utility design and installation. He is a licensed Wisconsin utility contractor

Director of Operations, Fay Harder said, “We are pleased to have Jay and his added expertise in this growing area of our business. The expansion of this department allows us to continue increasing our capabilities and respond to the demand for multifamily housing with new projects.” 

The Excavation Department is currently performing site work on Phase II of Moon Lake Estates in Rice Lake which will have 100 new apartment homes in seven buildings. A groundbreaking ceremony for this site is planned for May 11, 2017 with the Rice Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

S.C Swiderski Construction is also working on projects in Kronenwetter and Wausau. The company recently completed construction on Mill Street Estates in Eagle River, Prosser Place Estates in Antigo and Woodland Estates in Wisconsin Rapids for a total of two hundred new apartment homes. Multiple sites throughout the state are in the planning or pre-development phase for multifamily and residential construction as well as recreational and waterfront land development.
