S.C. Swiderski Names Nathanael Popp as Operations Manager
S.C. Swiderski, LLC has selected Nathanael Popp to serve as Operations Manager. Nathanael now oversees all areas of the company which include real estate, construction and property management divisions. The appointment will further position the company for continued growth.
Nathanael is a graduate of UW-Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management and has 16 years of construction and management experience. He also holds an associate degree in electromechanical technology. He joined the company in 2015 in the property management division. Most recently he managed the maintenance and grounds departments. Nathanael has been instrumental in developing company culture and driving company processes and efficiencies. In his new role, he will also be responsible for the daily operations of the company, team development and achieving organizational objectives.
“Nathanael is a results focused leader and has a strong working relationship with the ownership and managers. We are excited for the future of the company under his direction,” said HR Manager, Kim Dennee.
S.C Swiderski is currently building apartments in Rice Lake, Sturgeon Bay, Marshfield, and Urban West and Westwood Estates in Wausau. Multiple sites throughout Wisconsin are in the planning or pre-development phase for multifamily construction as well as commercial, recreation and waterfront land development.
SCS Construction - A Year in Review
2018 was a busy year for SCS Construction. The company has five multifamily projects under construction at year end. The Construction Management Team is proud of the hard work and dedication of the field leadership and staff and the project management team.
The construction division works closely with SCS Property Management who handles the lease up and management of the completed buildings. This cooperative relationship is instrumental in the company’s success.
The company was proud to open the first two buildings at SCS Sturgeon Bay; this site is the company’s first location in eastern Wisconsin. SCS Sturgeon Bay features new interior and exterior selections which have been well received. The company is also excited for the progress on Moon Lake Estates in Rice Lake with over half of the Phase II apartments opening in 2018.
A milestone was achieved at the company’s premier site, Westwood Estates in Wausau with the first tenants moving in and multiple buildings now open. A second location in Wausau, Urban West, is a new building that the company designed with underground parking, community and fitness rooms and upscale, modern finishes. This three story building met key milestones throughout 2018.
The company broke ground on SCS Marshfield in the fall. Site work is underway at this large multifamily project. SCS Construction’s busy pace will continue in 2019. Village Estates in Kronenwetter has been approved and several other projects are in various stages of development and approval. The architectural design team has diligently been designing new buildings to add to the company’s portfolio.
