September Star Spotlight

The Star Spotlight for September is Carrie Slater from the Accounting Department. Carrie was nominated by her peers for her diligence, willingness to take on more responsibility and her positive attitude. We appreciate all that Carrie does for the company and her co-workers and are happy to recognize her with this award. Here are some comments from her nominations.

“Carrie is quick to respond to my requests for information and is always pleasant and helpful. She also consistently goes above and beyond by helping with orientations and stepping up to additional duties and tasks as needed. I really admire how hard she works and how she connects with employees and makes everyone feel welcome,” said one person.

“When we had a member of our team leave, Carrie willing took on a great deal more responsibly. She continued to perform at her usual high level even with the greater work load. After two months when we finally hired our new Senior Accountant, Carrie was very instrumental in training Kyle on tasks and helping him get acclimated to the company and his new position. On top of this she has remained positive and continues to find ways for all of us to be more efficient. ”

“She brightens my day every time I see her or work with her on anything. She always has a positive attitude and is always courteous whenever I have to come to her. I always end up leaving her office in laughter or a big grin on my face because of the conversation we had. Whenever I ask her for a favor or assistance with something she is always pleasant, accurate, efficient, and never makes me feel like a burden. She is the epitome of a team player and the type of coworker that makes me enjoy my job every day, no matter what type of negativity I face. Carrie is the best!“
