A couple weeks ago we celebrated the Grand Opening of our newest site, SCS Eau Claire! It was a beautiful day filled with excitement and joy as our largest project to date has taken shape.

SCS provides housing with professional service at locations across the state, but this project is extra special to us. SCS Eau Claire is the largest private investment our company has made in a community and our largest project to date – it sits on 134 acres of land and will have 532 apartment homes and future twin homes and single-family homes and includes public streets, sidewalks, paths, and neighborhood amenities including a clubhouse with community and fitness rooms, pickleball and disc golf.

SCS purchased this parcel of land in 2015 and with the incredible vision of our owner, we planned it over many years designing the buildings and site you see taking shape here.

This event is truly a celebration to honor the commitment and hard work of so many people. The city staff, the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, AEC, Peoples State Bank and so many other companies have helped make this project the huge success that it is. We are proud to have so many great companies working on this project.

The SCS team works throughout the state, so it is exciting when we come together to celebrate a milestone like this Grand Opening.

Our in-house teams play a crucial role in our projects like SCS Eau Claire. From designing our buildings, to handling materials and procurement, to project management, to finally handing it off to our leasing team, everyone has a part in seeing this project through so that new tenants can move into their new homes.

Every project has challenges and with a project of this scale those challenges multiply exponentially. We are proud of the dedication and ability of the SCS team and our partners to come in every day and face the challenges, overcome obstacles, and move forward with continuous improvements. While working together we are transforming this area of the city, providing great housing options to community residents, and contributing the local economy.
