Mosinee, WI - S.C. Swiderski, LLC, a construction and real estate investment company, has begun construction on Phase II of Moon Lake Estates in Rice Lake, WI. This phase has 100 new apartment homes in seven two-story buildings. Construction Manager, Tim Koch, announced that Project Manager for the site is Chris Karch, Site Superintendent is Sarah Fischer-Uttecht and Becky Hensel has been named as Project Coordinator.
SC Swiderski will retain ownership of the apartments; the Property Management Division of the company will provide professional leasing, maintenance and grounds keeping. Leigha Larson, the on-site Leasing Manager also manages the 104 units in Phase I of Moon Lake Estates. She explained, “Tenants have responded well to our spacious layouts. There is strong demand in the area and I am excited about Phase II. We are building one, two and three bedroom apartment homes ranging from 958 to 1328 square feet. They feature in unit washers and dryers, private entrances and heat is included.” S.C. Swiderski uses hydronic baseboard heat which is not only energy efficient but evenly distributes heat throughout the building. S.C. Swiderski has embraced several other green initiatives in their projects including WaterSense Certified toilets, LED lightbulbs for all exterior lighting, programmable thermostats and high efficiency appliances and boilers.
“Our excavation crew is doing site preparation and will start utility installation soon,” Jay Trowbridge, Excavation Manager for SC Swiderski Construction said. Becky Hensel added, “We are happy to be working in Rice Lake again. We are looking forward to providing more quality housing opportunities in such a wonderful community.”
The public is invited to a Groundbreaking Ceremony with the Rice Lake Area Chamber of Commerce at 1:00 pm on May 11th. Tours of the model home are available after the ceremony.
In addition to Moon Lake Estates, S.C Swiderski Construction is currently working on projects in Kronenwetter and Wausau. The company recently completed construction on Mill Street Estates in Eagle River, Prosser Place Estates in Antigo and Woodland Estates in Wisconsin Rapids adding several hundred new apartment homes to their real estate portfolio. Multiple sites throughout the state are in the planning or pre-development phase for multifamily and residential construction as well as recreational and waterfront land development.
