S.C. Swiderski Celebrates Grand Opening of SCS Stanley
S.C. Swiderski celebrated the grand opening ceremony of the multi-family housing project, SCS Stanley on May 24th. Special guests included, David Jankoski of the Clark County Economic Development, Mayor Al Haas and Kevin Hendrickson from the City of Stanley, and Larry Accosta from Merchants Bank. Following the ribbon cutting, guests were invited to enjoy treats provided by S.C. Swiderski as well as guided tours of the on-site property management office and a few of the apartments showcasing different floorplans available to tenants.
During the Grand Opening Ceremony, a $1,000 check was donated to the Clark County Humane Society in celebration of S.C. Swiderski’s 30th Anniversary. “Our employees voted on a group of non-profit organizations within the Stanley area and Clark County Humane Society was chosen to receive the donation,” said Marketing Communications Coordinator Johanna McGlauchlen. According to April Dickson of the Clark County Humane Society, the donation will be used to introduce more children to the organization and promote responsible care of pets in the Clark County.
SCS Stanley offers market rate apartment homes with 1-to-3 bedroom options and eight floorplans to choose from. The square footage ranges from 702 to 1,165 sq. ft. giving living options that are suited to a wide range of tenants. All apartments include private entrances, luxury plank flooring, a full appliance package and modern finishes and a garage stall. In addition to snow removal and lawn care, rent includes heat, water, cable, and high-speed internet. The apartment homes are pet friendly for cats and dogs under 50 pounds. SCS Stanley is located on Pine Street in Stanley in a convenient location near Hwy 29. The apartments also have on-site management who is ready to respond to the needs of the tenants. “We are excited to see this site open and become home to so many residents. We appreciate the support of the City of Stanley on the planning of this project and are happy to be able to bring more quality housing options to the area,” said Director of Business Development Jacqui McElroy. David Jankoski explained in his remarks to the group that the county has hundreds of job openings and the project is provided much needed housing to attract workers to the area.
Construction by S.C. Swiderski Construction began in 2021 under the direction of site superintendent Brian Vullings and Project Manager Kelsey Beasland. Two buildings at the site have opened and the final building is scheduled to be completed this summer. Lease up activity has been strong and is being managed by S.C. Swiderski Property Management headed by Leasing Manager Kari Kussow and Area Manager Amanda Guthman. The team hosted tours of the new apartment homes for guests of the event.
All of S.C. Swiderski projects are designed, built, owned, and managed by the company.
