A grand opening celebration for SCS Sturgeon Bay Estates was held on September 18, 2018. The event was hosted by SC Swiderski’s on site manager Don Braun along with the Sturgeon Bay-Door County Visitors Bureau. Several SC Swiderski staff and their guests attended along with Mayor Thad Birmingham, City Administrator Josh VanLieshout, Community Development Director Marty Olejniczak, city staff, Alderpersons and Door County Economic Development Corporation.

SCS Sturgeon Bay Estates opened its first building in September 1. When completed, it will have 56 apartment homes consisting of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans. Rent includes a parking garage, heat, water, trash and snow and lawn care. The site has a dedicated on-site manager handling leasing and maintenance.

The company thanked the city of Sturgeon Bay and the community for supporting the development. They shared that the first building is fully occupied by tenants and they are accepting applications on the future buildings that are under construction.
