Our June Star Spotlight are the managers of the Property Management Division, Kari Kussow and Nathanael Popp. This division is responsible for managing and maintaining our real estate portfolio and providing a high level of customer service to thousands of tenants. Under their direction, the division consistently exceeds national standards for turnover times, repair expenses and occupancy rates. 

Kari Kussow is the Leasing Manager. She led her department to fill a record number of units in May and prepared them to handle our growing portfolio as buildings open throughout 2018. Her team describes her as a professional, positive and high energy leader. Several mentioned they appreciate how she talks them through situations and provides sound guidance. She is known for her ability to get the job done. 

Nathanael manages maintenance and grounds. The maintenance department resolves over 300 calls per month in addition to performing regular maintenance while the grounds crew keeps up on snow removal, lawn care and landscaping. Nathanael is known for his motto, “Do whatever it takes.” His team says he is a dedicated, hands on leader.
